Re: Turbo bikes
Five pound a bend for stainless ones.
Your luckier than me,as you could copy/duplicate what you have,I have to think things out.
A mate of mine works as a technician in a motor vehicle dept of a high school (naughty thick kids getting cars to play with instead of doing maths english....)and theyve just bought a new tig set. Im impressed with his welding,as it looks a lot nicer than mine. I shall rope him in i think? I can do the fab work, tacking, and I'll give him a cup of tea and a biscuit to finish weld.
You should give stainless a try with a mig.
Ive bought some very special flap wheels from a company called datatools and I couldnt believe my eyes with how they work. When Ive tried to gring welds out of exhausts,Ive generally made a mess of the surface. With normal disc's you need to grind in a rotational manner, ortherwise you'll wreck your pipe work. The special discs are expensive at about 20 quid a piece, but worth every penny and then some! You can gring in any direction, side to side, front to back and you'll get an immaculate finish.
I dont mean to go off track, but i am think TURBO pipes for aircooled suzuki's!!

That yellow one used to belong to John Mills. The et with the srad rear end and efe tank was built by FBM. Did ya notice the white efe in the back ground of the spondon picture

The white efe in the background is one ive seen somewhere before in the past. Ive some Superbike Ultimate streetbike dvd's,which i'll have to find and have a look at to see if I can find out more.
If it wasnt against all that copyright malarky,i would have been able to run some copies off.

I'll take a pic or two of it,and let you see what it looks like. I bought from turbo god Dave Dunlop (FBM (FastByMe). So I know it'll work. But you'll then need all the other bits to go with it.
