EFE red and black paint.
This week coming im going to prep a set of bodywork for my EFE thing, and I want to paint it in (one of)my fave style for the good old efe.

(not my tanks by the way!).
If I do the prep, can anybody help me please by measuring some datum points on the tank (if you have one painted like the pic),so that I can position the silver stripes etc in the correct place??
Once I have the prep work done,I'll run some masking tape down the centre of the tank, front to back, and then maybe run tape across the tank, side to side,at set points, from where i can hopefully work out where the break in colours should be,and the silver stripes applied.
I hope thast makes sense???
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Thinking about it,your bike has my second fave colour scheme for efe's,and Ive 3 set of bodywork.
When Im ready with that set,i figure you'll be sick of me asking dimensional questions!

I would fancy doing one in the excact same paint scheme as you - just altering the paint to metalflake - candy apple red and gun smoke black . . . .
Some day - maybe . . . .

MMMMMmmmmmmm metalflake.....candy.....
I did a friends bike candy and flakey, which looked really erm...bright in the sunshine. It later became known as "the gay paintjob".
Click the pic to see the vid.

Clicky piccy.

In the my fave place for paint, the kitchen, ready to be taken away.

I actually fancy doing a set of EFE panels in a blue candy with some flakey stuff, and a nice pearl white. In the same format as some of the US bikes.
I would have added a pic,but it seems photobucket is taking a break from things and not working for me,yet again!!!!

That's the same paint scheme as mine.
Bought a full set of bodywork off a guy in Edinborough intending to do it red & black, but it was in too good condition to bugger it up!
