Spondonchris's ........Spondonturbo
Hi, thought I would chuck a couple of pics in of my Spondon Turbo bike as it is i.e nearly rebuilt, and has been nearly rebuilt for the last 10 years! I am trying to get this done and finished and off the bench so I can get the basket case Kat project on the go.

EFE 1100 motor out to 1327cc Wiseco, lowered compression, wired barrels, welded crank, straight cut gear, pro cut gears, billet clutch, heavy duty springs, heavy duty studs, uprated oil pump, White power forks, Mr Turbo kit etc
Jobs to do: Oil cooler bracket for new cooler, needs fabricating which I cannot do!, rechrome exhausts or replace, mount coils etc on new battery box, new ignition switch, new chain to go on, bodywork and that's it!
Hopefully not too long, we shall see.

It was a hoot to ride when it was on the road many years ago. Been riding modern bikes since, but going back to the older bikes now so keen to finish the rebuild now and get it back on the road. The bodywork and paintscheme is period for when it was built (1991) so may do an update at some point, but for now just needs finishing off and using!

Yes, the pics are up to date and have been for the last 10 years as I haven't touched it for that long! Now set a deadline of Christmas as I have had a bet with a couple of mates, only a tenner though so no great incentive
I am trying to get oil cooler brackets sorted at the mo. Then a bit of goodridge for the oil return and the turbo can go back on. Coils on after that, ignition switch and pretty much done.
I need to get this done as other projects are waiting!
will post more pics when I get my ar*e in to gear
