Nice to see u still have the projects on the go. The new edition looks a great. Is it very different to ridinga original 80s one

Hi John, no not really, but saying that, its been a very long time since i rode a standard kat.
Clutch has a servo motor, and is light as a light thing, one finger action. The suspension is a bit better, as its fullly adjustable, and no pesky anti dive gubbins, but otherwise, i think its pretty much the same. i dont think they altered the geometry, but it does have a larger back wheel for some reason.
Its a sunny day bike, , but will get used. Im planning next years TT on it!
Projects havent moved for years now. boo hoo.
I will get back into them, but im doing up a fairly standard EFE just now, (jusyt finished sorting the previous monkeys wiring) why do people use those crappy blue and red connectors? Jeez, they were even on the cdi.
Sorted now tho, so its a bit nearer finishing.

Bud for future reference you might want to use vebicle wiring products. They sell japanesse bike connectors. I really rate them!

Yes budm, ive been using them for years. You're right they provide excellent service.. I'll stop hogging this thread now if thats ok

hello
i need a bit of help with setting up the carbs my katana 1100. i have a open K&N type air filler and and he shims setting done ... but now i am on the air/fuel mix. dose anybody have a bassline on how many psi/bar my snync clock´s should be.. and info´s please PM me...!!!

I normally carefully screw the air screws in lightly until i feel resistance and then back out 2 & 1/4 turns. As for balancing set the low idle to 1700 rpm. Start on middle two and the the other two. Read the manual where to adjust first im only going on memory
