My new turbo Kat project
Re: My new turbo Kat project
Made it to Rogers in good time and had a hour chatting about the motor. I love chatting to guys like him that have tonnes of acs experience.
So we agreed the following. Im on a tight budget
Strip crank, measure, inspect replace where neccessary fit straight cut, balnce and weld. Fit straight cut and new springs to clutch basket. Inspect gearbox. Fit hd camchain. Rebuild bottom end. Replace starter clutch bolts. Blank of oil feeds for top end. Fit oil supply reducer to gearbox and clutch. Fit high flow oil pump gears.work out compression ratio and decide on the best way to reduce comp ratio. Genuine suzuki base gaskets are 10thou. Commetec are 20 thou. Might use two commetec. Or two stock and a spacer plate. Cut valve seats. Fit new valve stem seals. Dial in efe cams. Fit hd head studs and rebuild whole motor. Simples

When using a bandit arm in a kat etc with twin shocks, xjr or gsx1400 do you a bush to reduce the bottom 14mm holes or fit 14mm bolts.
