I have just fitted all the full bloater set up to my efe. Might be worth trying a slightly longer shock.nothing looked that obvious

Try to find someone who can make this thing for you, a little bit longer than original.
You can file the holes of the original one to be longer to test how much lift you want ;)

i have cut mine in two and welded a bit in between so it's now 12mm longer. still holding well after 5 years of (ab-)use on Lithuanian "roads".

I want to do this too.
I´ve got a Wilbers 530 rear shock, that i specified to my weight and use, so it´s a littlebit higher than stock ,because of ther harder spring.
But I think it could be lifted a bit more ... ;)
The forks are stock, with progressive springs and DOT10 oil, airchamber reduced to 140mm.

I wanna go the way that is told above, but I´m not sure about the length of the part in the pic .

Cpt Chaos, you made it 12mm longer , does that do anything to the stability at high speed ?

Are here more users with experiences on that ?

no stability issues on mine (stock EFE forks, GSX-R 17" wheels).

Also when i installed the Slingy 750 forks (which are a good bit shorter than stock) a few months ago, the bike is still stable. No tankslappers or wobbles or whatever.
I do keep all the bearings and stuff in perfect condition though, this helps a lot.
