TLS front end into EFE
Looking at fitting my spare TLS front end into Effy.
Not sure if the steering stems are the same size. Anyone know?
If they are not the same then will get a Effy stem pressed into my TLS yokes.

Taken Effy front end out and had a look, TLS stem will fit but need to change bearings. Other than that press the Effy stem into the TLS yoke.

Hi,
TL steering stem won't fit the EF not even with other bearings.
Also the EF steering stem won't fit the TL yoke.
Have done this conversion.
You also will have trouble with the yoke stops.
I've made a special steering stem, that I can use the EF bearings and that fits the TL yoke, best way in my opinion.

Hello Nickel,thanks for the info!!

Was...well still am looking into pressing a collar into the TLS yoke to take up the slack of the EFE stem. Might have to bore out the TLS yoke a tad to accept a decent sized collar then the EFE stem. If not will go down your route of making a new stem!!
