630 chain down to a 530??
I fancy going from a big heavy expensive long 630 chain to a 530?? Any ideas for the front sprocket??? Does anybody know if the splines are the same on other models??? Then my next thing will be to either adapt or make an offset front sprocket.

I run 600 bandit wheels and sprockets on my GS do it's a 530 conversion. The gear box splines are the same if it helps.

Suzuki and Kawasaki use the same splines.
Making your own offset sprocket is a good idea. Much cheaper that what you can buy off the shelf.

i have looked around for a sprocket with a collar, so i can run an out rigger plate, every one Ive seen is ridiculously expensive, and as I'm a cheap git i'm making my own over Christmas.

Go for a very large front sprocket as in 17 teeth, because the circumference of the 530 is not as big as the 630.
FBJ - Did you ever try out the 43 teeth on the rear wheel ?
