GSX1100 Wiring
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if i will run into many if any problems swapping the complete wiring loom from my '85 US import GSX1100E (GS1150E) to one from a UK spec bike of simular age. My present loom has been modified by the last owner when it ran nitros and its a bit shot so thats why i was hoping to swap for one in better shape from the GSX1100E. Has anyone tried this or knows of any problems. looking at the wiring diagrams there seems to be no front break switch on the US spec bike other that that they look very close.

Hello mate, I think inport bikes might of had the indicator wired to stay on as side lights in some parts of the world. Maybe the light switch cannot be turned on and off. Other than that I think you'll be ok

Thanks FBJ i had forgotten about the US spec bikes and there indicators staying on. My wiring diagram in the suzuki service manual is E28 and checking against the others seem almost the same, its probably better to use the uk spec loom and get the lights to work as they should over here.
