how to get this barsteward out!!!!
At last I have made space in my cave to get access to start on my Kat, hope to have it built for the ACS do at Squires. Anyway first thing on the motor is to get the front engine mounting bolt out, it's siezed in and snapped, I sprayed it with WD40 several times over the last few weeks, I wanted to put two nuts locked together on the good side however the threads are fubar so I had to use molgrips and heat, no luck so far, any tips?

another pic, I tried tapping it from left to right and applying pressure left and right whilst applying heat. This end of the bolt is free

seen that happen before,
don't hit the end too much else the engine casting will break off,.
just keep on soaking it with diesel, plusgas and maybe a bit of heat.
if you can get tension on the loose side and it might loosen over a day or ten

Got it out, turned the engine upside down, so I could condentrate the heat on the bolt, got it as hot as posible then poured a little oil on the bolt to shrink it quick did this a few times then it started moving, awesome.
