EFE carb advice
Hi guys.I am in need of a set of carbs for an efe ,standard engine, no tweaks. Question is will gsxr carbs fit and perform better than standard CV ones? I know standard ones are a v tight fit with a std airbox. And if I then have to put pods on gsxr carbs (a) will they fit and (b) how easy are they to set up?Thanks

Hello Fluff. If you get the gsxr carbs to fit the stock air box the chances are youll have to them on and of to set up. Efe carbs are nice carbs for a stock motor. I would just buy new air box rubbers so there a bit more friendly
i have a good set of efe carbs i might sell

A question of how much dosh you want to spend me thinks.
I made good experience with 36 mm GSXR CV carbs as well as with 36mm Bandit 1200 CVs. Never tried to use the standard airbox though - I always fitted K&N dual pods in combination with a Dyno jet kit.

Thanks guys.I have a decent set of stock carbs thanks John. I think i'll stick with these.Apparently FBK tells me the recommended way to get them in with a standard airbox is to loosen the front engine mounts :-S
