Straightliners at York dragstrip next weekend.

Straightliners are hitting the strip at York race way or whatever its called now. :lol:

Just down the road from Elvington air strip where they usually race.
Fingers crossed,I will be there.

It was a great event. I hadnt realised cars were running too,which normally would have me twisting my face. But dozen's of big blocked Chevy's,Ford's and Chryslers were cool to watch.
A kawasaki zzr1400 ran I think a 9.2 and was followed down the strip by a mk3 Ford cortina.....that ran I think an 8.9!!! Fast!!

I only spotted one aircooledsuzuki,a GSX (draw thru turbo,one piece body)but never spotted it running.
A good day,but very very very HOT!
