Hello you lot

Bit of a fan of the older stuff and always had air cooled suzukis

It all started off when i was a nipper being dragged around what was most likely the first bike show at the NEC most likely in 1981 . I can remember little except there was a chick drapped over the bike in a yellow outfit and the bike was on a plymth surround by half a million horney fellas . I grabbed a brochure . This started a resonence of desire on the Kat that lives to this day .

Skip on near 20 years and a bike showroom opened up in our local town flogging gray imports . Sure enough in the row was a suzuki Katana 750 and it just so happened i had the money to be able to buy it . It was a bit of a shed being an italian bike and had vrs stuff missing and bodged but sod it i brought it anyway.

I got it home , sourced the bits it needed , registered taxed and moted , rode it and hated it ........... slow , twisty stuff poor , wouldnt stop etc etc . Boom it burst my bubble .

So out with the lump and in with a GSXR , muchhhhhh quicker and fun , couldnt stop the bastard and the tyres were ruined by my heroics but half way there , so whats next ? CMA wheels , wonderful . Oh and lets drill the top yolk and paint it bright green and pink ,,,,, and lets etc etc

Sad to say my Kats in flux period at the mo . Its recovering from being left outdoors for 18 months ( i lost my garage and money etc ) after it tested my patience after a rebuild . Presently it awaits a transplant . My intention this time is to butcher a bandit 12 for its engine , loom and switchgear to drag the old girl into the 2000`s . This is nothing new , a rebuild happens every time i fancy doing something different

so there ya go
