Hi all,Ive been into aircooled suzuki's for as long as I remember, right from the start of my biking days with a GS750,before i passed my test. Im always busy with bits and pieces, but normally helping others out, rather than doing a great deal for myself. :D
I recognise a few names of people already registered,so look forward to some friendly banter with one and all.
Ive a ton of projects, but the one that fits in best here is my good old EFE thing. Its currently under a pile of rubbish, but i do have a freshly powdercoated frame sitting in a shed,as a good starting point.
Ive noticed that one member on here is building a gsx1400 engined Katana,so maybe i will be brave and make a start on another engineless EFE i have in storage, with plans to stick an 1127 gsxr engine in.

My in need of a rebuild EFE. The swingarms a one off,in stainless box section, with the frame modded at the rear to allow the use of two lock up struts (as if a twin shock),engine is supposed to be a 1260 thing, but ive never needed to pull it apart to see inside yet? The exhaust is a star racing propipe style thing, which (ahem..cough..)used to even be used on MOT day. The bike was when 1st built, painted flourescent pink with flourescent green wheels, with sponsorship from a "adult entertainment sex shop" lol. The front end was a kawasaki usd one,but i dont recall exactly what?
The plan to rebuilt would have two possibilities, one a non turbo replica of Steve Burn's GSX,as hiding behind the site banner thing at the top of the page,or if i could get my stuff together a draw thru turbo version. Ive already bought a FBM one off alloy plenum,an ex BigCCracing 1500turbo Kat Mikuni HSR carb and a garrett turbo as well as a Mitsubishi one and a KKK one too. Decisions decisions....
Hello all. :D

Firstly hello and welcome aboard

Secondlt that's looks awesome and purposeful from behind, It would be awesome to make it look like Steve Burns old E, I think his old one looks totally outstanding. Draw thru would be awesome, I'm also doing doing a draw thru, but think its going into my Kat with a efe engine,. :D

Hi Stockcar,Nice to see your still into old suzuki's. You sold me an EFE frame a while back, which is now all freshly powdercoated waiting for me to do something with!
Ive a few ideas, and have actually started with prepping some panels (yesterday)in readiness to start some nice new shiney paint.
Feel free to keep in touch as work hopefully starts on the bike.
