Hi, joined yesterday after I saw John Martin's excellent GSX1100 pictures on FB, hopefully I can pick up some good idea's that will help with my much neglected efe's overhaul and try and get it sorted for next year.

Hello mate, welcome aboard, going draw thru rocks in my opinion only cos it's old skool. are all the cam old feeds -3? ie brake line hoses? I can see you have a dyna-s on there, they work well don't they? is that the latest pic? what have you done to the engines insides? Or are you just going for very low boost?

I've owned and ran the bike since 1991, was my regular road bike for a long time til I graduated to busa's, then its sat in the garage for too long. Its a mr turbo kitted efe, originally built by TTS, its been 1260 turbo nitrous, it eventually became 1230cc and stayed that way, I used to run a super E carb with a home brewed water injection set-up, but that was thirsty, but very fast. I have a 42mm Mikiuni to go on it now, its a Roger Upperton head, all stainless valves, ported etc, straight cut gears billet clutch, undercut gears, second gear is welded to the shaft, M.R.E lock up too. The turbo was rebuilt by a guy called Hanson from Hudderfield who was the original importer of Rajay's into the UK. The only issue I ever really had way the head weeping oil at either side, which Roger cured with some mods to the head and Dave Grant supplied the oil lines. Enid Puceflange (Simon Martin) made the swingarm too, needs a back shock though, the EBC unit always was shit and hasn't improved with age.
