Hi fellow ACS members
Hello Fellas,
another new member here, been a lifelong Aircooled fan, had a GS1000 from 83 to 96 which I traded it in for a Bandit 12 which I still have. Have been buying frames and parts for GS/GSX for a while now and have 2 GSX1100's , one nearly built and another waiting . I'm doing a GS1000 Wes Cooley rep (yawn, not another one !!! I hear you all saying but always loved Yoshi and his stuff) That bike was an old Earlystocks racebike which was raced by a guy named Andy Kerfoot in the early 90's. The head was extensively ported and polished, valves refaced by an old Coventry tuning Guru by the name of Les Dyer. You may not have heard of him but he worked at Jaguar Cars in their race department and tuned the heads of all the old race Jags including the LeMans cars.
He's passed away now but his work is brilliant and when I learn how to , I'll post some pictures up of my GS head and a Z750 head that he did for me many many years ago.
My forum name may be confusing as I've got a Spondon framed H***a firegrate and it's the name I use on the Z1 owners club website too. I am an avid GS and Z nutter and my garage (and loft) is bulging with projects for both !!
I've made quite a few friends on Facespace and this is how I got to learn of ACS from John Oliver..
I'm glad to be here and look forward to all the banter ..

Hi Ges, welcome aboard, I think this might be the place for you, when you reply to a topic there is a comment underneath it that says upload pics, click that and follow the instructions.
You had that first GS a long time, must of left you with quite an impression, always be space in my garage for an 8 valver. What GSX's do you have? Wes Cooley reps are lush mate, what are you doing ? Red or blue? Looking forwards to seeing your sorted cylinder head
