Hi guys,
when i read new posts, they are still marked as unread, unless i post a reply then they are read.
Why is that? Is it because i have no smartphone and do it the oldskool way on a pooter?

I dont know mate. When i go on my laptop i will log in as you and look see. There is a button for rescent posts

now it happens again, i can read the post as many times as i want it still shows "unread post".

But after having posted the previous reply it was normal again

It's because your computer knows that you need to read things at least twice to understand!


Something similar going on with John posting everything twice.

yup.. just forget about the "read post" icons.. just hit the "view active topics" link on top..

Captain Chaos, I will say this only once, maybe twice I have logged in as you and it works fine if you click show unread posts. Can't see any reason why you are having a few issues I can see that you are contributing plenty to the forum. Good man

I have tried the first unread post button, doesn't help.
I have tried the mark posts read button, doesn't help.

*edit* i posted this post after i read all the other unread posts, also in the other sections, and now they are all marked as read.
