but as this year comes to a end, I have moved home got another bike Xf650X Suzuki ,which makes me laugh when im riding it, it got heart.....
So lets here your thoughts on the last year?...........

Rode my GS at the festival of 1000 bikes and did a classic track day at donington park. I want to do the same next year but need to get it sorted properly this time!

All in all a year as ever, except some highlights.
Had a great tríp to the European Kat Rally north of Bordeaux, finding my way through the Pyrenees first.
(Nearly) finished my project Kat, good enough to have it on the dyno bench and do some test rides. Still have to sort out the paper works...

in January 2012 i said 'new year, same shit'.
I appeared to be right.
Just that i had more of the same shit than usual. Lost my job on the 1st of August, found a new job quite quickly but it will not pay well untill spring. It's going to be a long winter.
Bike wise not much changed for me, still have and enjoy the EFE. And the GSX-R which had been standing in a corner since i bought the EFE five years ago finally got some attention, i MOT'd and insured it and rode a few hundred km this year. I can not understand how i rode to France and back with it, it's that uncomfortable.
Oh yes and my bike leathers mysteriously got smaller while hanging in the cupboard all winter. Again.

Had quite a good 2012 really, moved to a different part of the shipyard where I work.........and now can work nearly as much O/T as I like for a change! So its nice to actually have a few quid in my pocket instead of being skint all the time.
Bought and sold a few bikes, Most noticably an XN85 Turbo, Kat650 and an old MZ TS250 for a lads challenge.
Enjoyed the numerous rallys I have been to this year, Kat rally at Squires on the Kat1000, Farmyard rally on the Kat1000, Eurokat5 rally in France on the Kat650, and Stormin the castle on the Kat1000....... And the 250 challenge around the lakes on the old MZ250 which I have to say was a real hoot
Ive started taking my son Max out on some my motorbikes.............I'm starting him off slowly on the 1967 M30 step thru............. as cool as a an eskimo's fridge!
Also started to coach an U8s Rugby league team in my local town, and so far the lads havnt lost a game all year................so well chuffed there!
So not a bad year!
