John, I know I said I feel bad borrowing, but I think I may need to call on your help with this one. I will leave it until the last thing, just in case one turns up, but I have most of the bits to get the bike on a daytime MOT. I am waiting for the tank still as my mate is still trying to pull the dents out, as there are quite a few!, but once that is back, I should be able to get the bike going. I will try and do the photo of the frame that has been cut off this weekend to see how much is missing.
I think I can maybe bolt the rubbish seat that came with the bike on for now if the MOT guy will be sensible.
On another note, did you see the two 750 kats on ebay in North Wales - I am gutted I had no money, two full bikes for £1950 plus an extra 1100 motor and some trick bits on top - looked like a bargain to me!

Do scrap frames ever turn up for 1100 Kat's? I need to replace the rear bit of my frame as it has been previously cut off and I therefore have no where to bolt a seat on to!!

I have a lead on a big pile of Katana bits..

Parts like carbs, forks, etc not even included in the picture..
Two small problems: the seller wants to sell all of it in one go, and.. he's located in the south of Germany..

I have seen this posted on the Katana forum also. I think it was around 4000 euro? for the lot.
Too much for me

Yep.. That's what he is looking for.. Might actually be worth it (or more) but I think it will be hard to find anyone willing to make such an investment..

Got a "scrap" frame with an extra seat loop thrown in, so If I can get the seat loop welded on in the right place, I may end up with 2 frames !!
Still needing all the seat brackets as I have a seat now but no brackets. I also still need front LH footpeg assembly. Still need all the fairing frame and some clocks. Also need the tail piece - in other words all the hardest bits to find!! and points cover - am sure I have forgotten something
