My EFE make over.

Ive henpecked myself into doing this. :D
I dont have any good pics of the starting point. I built this a few years back, before digi cameras were available, from a time you had to buy film for the camera and pay to have it developed.
So,Im short of pics.
When the bike was 1st built,I had a ride out to an NCC (national chopper club)bike event, parked up,went for a cup of tea,and on my return spotted a rosette on the forks. Hmm I thought ,whats that?? It turned out Id won best something or other. But Im not sure what? The bike at the time was flourescent pink,as I had a sponsor deal thing with an adult sex shop called Tickled Pink.
The bike was as noticable as a turd in a swimming pool.
I wanted a drag bike look,so all the switches/horn button etc were hidden behind the sidepanels, and the bars were all nice and empty. I do think I bothered with such a thing as a speedo. I used to judge 30mph for speed camera by blipping the throttle in top gear and rolling past them. Mind you,my number plate was small.
The front end is/was fitted with a kawasaki USD set of forks, wheel and single brake (dragbike look),I ran a Star racing dragpipe,a long one off swingarm with lock up struts. The lock up struts were either Ohlins or Whitepower but my memory is crap.
I shall have to post this and come back to it,as yet again photobucket has tied its self in knots.F***!!!!!

Try again with some pics.
This is pretty much the last time I even looked at the bike, before hiding it under a pile of rubbish.

Some parts Ive collected, but in all honesty, probably wont use for the time being. I need really to get the bike up and running on carbs first before I go down the turbo route.

I made some lockup strut mounts for the replacement frame, welded them in and then it was off to the powdercoaters.

The initial plan. This will no doubt change as my mood takes me.
Paint, nice and easy to decide,Red and Black .

The frames gloss black, the wheels will be painted white, engine probably black with a silver cylinder block.

The engine needs a steam clean, fresh oil and some new plugs. I need a new battery and new chain and sprockets (long chain). I need to buy some rose joints for the lock up struts,a new oil cooler with posh pipework.......

Id like it done for 2020.

We can then move onto EFE number 2....

My inspiration for ever wanting an EFE,even though this doesnt have a proper engine in it!!!
