Next thing was to remove the barrel, you can either spend hours beating them to death and risk damaging fins or you can remove all the studs as I have, just used two nuts nipped together, none snapped, PHEW

these will be swapped for heavy duty ones
After removing these the barrels came away with a couple of gentle taps from a rubber hammer.

I took this motor out of my efe about 3 years back cos she smokes allot

the pistons are ok, and the barrels aint stepped, but the rings are fecked
