I also added the new clutch cover, need to take it off again as it doesn't feel right, I might remove a couple of springs aswell.

Hi folks, I need some advise from them in the know with regards to ignition timing for my turbo Kat. Historically on all my other naturally aspirated bikes I ride them, apply a load if it detonates I adjust the timing until it stops doing it. My turbo is 9.4:1, the reason being is I want it to have tractable power when it's not on boost and only plan on running a low boost from my turbo. I've brought a Dyna_S ignition, firstly because they are great value (I'm on a budget) and secondly because they take very little room. I've had one on my 1170 kat for 8 years.
So my question is, what shall I set the timing to? Or shall I just ride it and then adjust it till don't detonate?
Thanks FBJ

i used to use super pi55 and between 6- 10 psi of giggles so i ran my turbo road bike at 34 deg......Dyna S & Green Coils..........
only probs i had was it sometimes pinged near end of a long straight if tank was less than 1/2 full.........."i dint run a pump"
on race gas i,ve ran silly psi.. on the same setting but race gas is a waste on road
